Naomi holds a Bachelor of Applied Arts and Bachelor of Education (Drama / Dance) from UNSW, and has been nurturing the talents of young people in the performing arts for more than 20 years. She has a fluent understanding of acting & script for theatre, film & television & remains highly engaged in the development of the actors she represents. Her lifelong experience in managing young people has led her to produce and organise countless events. Naomi’s ability to juggle large scale events as well as playing the role of mum to 4 kids, all who have worked in the entertainment industry, is what attracted her to the role of talent manager.
David trained in acting at McDonald College and furthered his training at The London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art (LAMDA) and Atlantic Acting School, NYC. He continues to coach emerging talent who can be seen on Netflix and in major motion pictures. As an actor he has appeared on Police Rescue, GP and Rake (ABC), Mr Punch of London (BBC), Home and Away, Deadline Gallipoli (FOXTEL), Rise (Pinnacle Films) and The Cartoon Network Live. David has worked as an agent, and casting associate for the Disney corporation and has headed acting departments within some of Sydney's leading Performing Arts Institutions. David is the artistic director of The Actors Assembly, Young Actors Assembly, Kids Act Up and the author of the Line of Truth Acting Syllabus, a 12 month training syllabus taught by a dedicated team of acting coaches.
We represent young people for roles in film, television, theatre, musical theatre, radio and much more. Our Kids Division actors are handpicked for their curiosity, charm and colourful imagination. We are committed to providing our clients with the right talent.
5yrs - 12yrs
Our teens are seriously dedicated to the craft of acting. Each of them are training and developing their acting muscles consistently to make our job easier. Upon acceptance Youth Division teen actors launch into the process of setting goals, learning specific exercises to keep them focused on their job. We offer varying packages of mentorship to keep each actor motivated. We only accept those who are willing and brave. Those who are ready to take their career to a whole new level.
13yrs - 18yrs
Our young adults division is the newest arm to YDTM. We represent actors who are formally training and/or have more than 5 years professional experience working within the theatre, film and television industries. We pride ourselves on our present, disciplined and educated clients who understand the necessary skills it takes to work within this incredible business.

Where are you based?
Our headquarters is based in Surry Hills, Sydney Australia.
DO YOU CHARGE FEES?
Our purpose is to offer transparent managerial services completely aligned with the rules and regulations of the Entertainment Industry Act 2013. We do not charge fees to join YDTM however there are costs associated with setting up with the two online portals Casting Networks & Showcast. Membership fees are paid direct to these portals by our clients. We do encourage all clients to invest in training and development to best prepare them for the industry.
DO I have to be registered with showcast & casting networks?
Yes. Both Casting Networks and Showcast are powerful tools which allow you to load and manage your showreels, add specific credits and store your audition media for self-tests and castings. These two portals are used by agents to represent their clients and suggest talent for roles.
Can I use my own photographer?
We would prefer you didn't. We believe in consistency and have our own headshot photographer who provides us with our brand based headshots at an excellent price.
what commiSsion do you charge?
Our clients are presented with an entertainment industry managerial agreement prepared in conjunction with our entertainment lawyers. YDTM charges a flat rate of 15% on all work procured.
Do you accept everyone who auditions for you?
We believe in every actor who wants to work within this incredible industry, but not every actor is ready for representation. YDTM represents skilled young actors who are working on their craft consistently within the film, theatre, tv & musical theatre industry. We do offer valuable feedback to all actors who apply.
How do I know that you are legitimate?
This is a valid question. If you google search both Naomi and David’s names you will read that they have been working within the education and entertainment industries for most of their lives. Both David and Naomi also hold valid working with children checks and are proud members of the Media Entertainment Arts Alliance.
**In NSW there are specific laws to protect the safety and wellbeing of children under the age of 15 years who are employed as actors and performers. The NSW Office of the Children’s Guardian is responsible for authorising employers of children in these industries and for monitoring their compliance with the Code of Practice and legislation.
